Infrared remote fitting in a PCMCIA slot

#1 Post by nielluin » Wed Apr 23, 2008 5:01 am

Hello guys,

I have been looking around some time now for an Infrared Remote that would fit in a PCMCIA slot and thus allow me to control Music, movies, whatever action I can configure.

That would also be a nice way to use the PCMCIA slots which are always empty as well as the infrared port that i almost never use.

So has any of you found a nicely fitting solution? Any chance i could get some address or link to find that kind of item.

Thanks a lot for your help
Cheers

Certain "media" laptops come with this (HP, maybe Dell). I don't think they used infrared though, some sort of (probably proprietary) wireless.
