I use netgear router and have had no reason to go beyond what firmware is already present ...
Now: T60 2613-EKU | T23 2647-9NU | 600X 2645-9FU | HP 100LX
Past: X31 2673-Y13 | T41 2374-3HU | T22 2647-AEU

Rules of the road :thumbs-UP:

I'm using the Buffalo WHR-G54S. Although the factory firmware is pretty awesome, my DHCP either static/dynamic dropped the internet connection every few days. I turned to Tomato firmware a few days ago and having very promising result ... so far.

I have a Linksys WRT54G version 2 and I am running DD-WRT...it adds many useful features to an already-great router. 8)

I'm running a Linksys WRT54GS with the stock firmware and it has never given any problems in the last 3 years!

DD-WRT, it's so flexible. Throw VPNC on there and you have a perma-vpn to work.
