Holy Cow! That puppys got the goods...no doubt. The 8 cell Li-Ion battery sucks though with an estimated run time of 1.5 hours. Then again this things is billed as a "desktop replacement. " The price is surprisingly reasonable for the specs. Hmmm... I'm getting that new computer itch.

Speaking for myself...I became enlightened whenever my wife wanted to check her email on our desktop system, which became solitaire time which was then sublimated into recipe search time, etc- et- etc.

I made the switch from desktops as soon as they were powerful enough to do what I wanted them to do, and that was only about 5 years ago.

Apparently the original M860TU is made by Clevo. Alienware, Voodoo, Hypersonic, or Sager will market their own versions of it soon, no doubt.
