13.3" @ WUXGA gives 170.2 DPI, so things would actually look barely larger than on 15.0" @ QXGA, which is 170.7 DPI. So, it's not unheard of. HP's recently introduced mini notebook, the 2133, has 8.9" @ 1280x768 or 167.6 DPI, not far from the other two.
