LCD suggestions

#1 Post by efrant » Thu Jul 24, 2008 3:12 pm

Hey all,

I'm looking for suggestions for an LCD monitor. I have 3 requirements:
1) UXGA or WUXGA resolution
2) 19-22"
3) non-glossy

Anyone have any suggestions?

The only ones I know of are Viewsonic VP2030b and VP2130b...

the lenovo thinkvision L220x is the only WUXGA that would fit your requirements since it's 22".   all other WUXGA monitors are 23", 24", and 27".

UXGA in 19~22" used to be quite common but i'm not sure about that anymore since everything is moving toward widescreen.

I can second the recommendation of the L220x. Erik had recommended it to me when I asked for WUXGA suggestions. And now for more than a couple of months I'm a happy camper with it.

You should add a fourth requirement, especially for an expensive LCD display, a three year warranty. Many brands have them, some are only one.
