Yes, I think so, but at that angle the laptop seems extremely slim.
I was browsing a few hours ago a local stores with only Mac's on it.
They had the Mac Air, which is soo tiny but doesn't have any integrated ports like USB or optical drive.

The MBA most certainly does have USB ports. That's how you hook up the external USB optical drive.
Go look again.

Ooh!
That's what 4-port travel hubs are for.
/rolls eyes.
It's not the end of the world if it only has 1 USB port. It's not designed to hook stuff up to. It's designed for thin, light, basic computing needs and to look good at starbucks.
Not for people who want to hook up peripherals (beyond say a printer or camera) and do real work. It's almost an internet tablet except for the fact that it has local storage and runs a full OS not a stripped one.
If you want a mac and want more portable power or expandability pick up a a MBP. A MBA is not in the same market for a reason.

The way Starbucks are going, MBA "yuppies" might have to look for somewhere else to boost their personal aesthetics sooner rather than later.Temetka wrote: It's not the end of the world if it only has 1 USB port. And IMHO I would much prefer a machine with at least 2 USB ports than have to pop in a travel hub that (if the laptop is on the lap) end up dangling out of the existing port and could make for fiddly and unsteady insertion of devices. Say if I need to transfer files directly from my personal USB flash drive to a friend's, I'd find it much more convenient to use 2 onboard ports rather than add a hub into the mix. Just my personal 2c

I was being sarcastic with the starbucks thing.KristianJ wrote:The way Starbucks are going, MBA "yuppies" might have to look for somewhere else to boost their personal aesthetics sooner rather than later.Temetka wrote: It's not the end of the world if it only has 1 USB port. Also, I was just trying to point out that the MBA does have USB. I myself would much rather have an X300 if I am going ultra-portable. Otherwise i'd be fine with a T60 or MBP. I don't like the air for business class work. It's a great toy laptop and certainly has looks, but I think it is flimsy and will die early.
