i tried picasa but i didn't like. any other options out there?

Irfanview used to be good a few years back, not sure if it is even available now ...

I have used it since v3 and love it. If you also want to organize photos online... go with the Gallery software (gallery.menalto.com) and the Gallery Remote application to upload and organize.

it's a picture viewer and not really an organizer. but it is a great viewer and i actually have it installed on my system

My father uses xnview extensively, though I'm not sure you're looking for something like that.

That xnView is very nice. The only organizer I have been using is in my Photo Shop; but I just installed this and it is great! thanks
