Question: Web hosting

#1 Post by spt60 » Wed Sep 10, 2008 4:37 pm

I'm looking for a reputable web host that supports ASP.NET, .NET framework 3.5 and AJAX/Silverlight. This will be my 1st time so I really appreciate your input :D

Thanks!

I'm not sure about those last two items, but this is who we have been with for years; they are awesome, extremely affordable, and they guarantee a one hour tech support response; although the few times I have had to email them for tech support, I have had an answer within 10 minutes. You could always email them on their site and ask:

Thanks Purcy for your quick response :)

I look over and they don't have ASP and Microsoft SQL Server support. Plus the space and traffic size is quite small :|

One of my domains is hosted at 1and1.com. They have been very reliable and fairly cheap but then again I don't run anything like you are looking for. Their Microsoft Hosting appears to offer ASP but I don't see any SQL support.

edit: Ah, they do... it was hidden behind a link near the bottom of the page ("show all features").

1and1.com is, hands down, the best web host that I have used. Extremely reliable, tons of features and a price that you can't beat.
