Online brokerage recs?

I've been thinking about opening an account with an online brokerage forever now and have read more reviews than I can count. I would appreciate some input from those of you that have been through this and have opened an account.

I've narrowed down my choices to Scottrade, Firstrade, and OptionsXpress....and I'm leaning toward Firstrade. Have any of you had any experience with these brokerages, whether good or bad?

I don't plan on being a daytrader and am more of a buy and hold type. Thanks for your input!

I don't have a recommendation for an online brokerage, as I work for a real brokerage and this week people were glad to have a live person to hold their hand. But this is a great time to buy good stocks. good luck
