What solutions would you suggest for cleaning electronics, particular our ThinkPad's?
for LCD?
for plastic surface (plain/matte)?
for polishing plastic surface?
for recondition?
anything else I missed?
I used to use combination of alcohol and GooGone.

LCD: Plain water, just use gentle pressure, a soft cloth, and dry it off afterwards.Dimitri_P wrote:What solutions would you suggest for cleaning electronics, particular our ThinkPad's?

Plastic: 409 works.

for LCD? - 50/50 Solution of Isopropyl Alcohol and Distilled Water
for plastic surface (plain/matte)? - Mr Clean Magic Eraser and hot water. Alcohol for stickers, or GooGone. Clorox disinfecting wipies for everyday cleanup.
for polishing plastic surface? - If you mean to polish to remove a small defect, then try a light auto body compound, very light grit. I would not recommend polishing every plastic surface.
