Well, people don't get me wrong, but you all must know (or already do) that 10% of population is bi/homosexual...

And that includes both men and women....

Just to point out margin of error in RBS's hint, nothing else...

OK, to be more specific 10% is estimation, and includes both orientation and experiences...

Believe it or not...

The majority of people do not advertise their sexual orientation, and certainly not on a public forum like this.
This is really getting off-topic and we should leave it at this.

The member in question (PCxp) is a young lady indeed. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her, but she has posted a picture in this very "off-topic" forum...the thread had something to do with cars, I believe...

Now, beGi, my dear friend, has it ever occurred to you is that the percentage you've quoted is what they want you to believe is true...and yes, we can take this offline...as usual...

Yeah, I think that it'd be best to steer clear of such a sensiive issue and return to the whole gift giving thing...which for me consisted of a few books, a gift card, some clothes, cologne body spray, earphones for my iPod, and a couple of DVDs. That's all I can remember right now. But the birthday's in a week and a half, and I'm hoping for some "donations" towards a 12 string guitar or some other musical purchase I'm hoping to make.

Well, this reminds me the fact that I got a book too, sci-fi (I like it very much) Solar Station. Anyone interested in the sci-fi books ? Let's start another off topic thread about it if there is enough readers :)

Beaver:
Not to hijack this thread again, but I love sci-fi ... and I know that Bill does too ... read plenty of excellent shorts recently, we'll discuss that in a different thread!

Are these ones that don't fall out of your ears? Ther reason I ask is because I find the IPod supplied ones are awful. They may only fit the dog's ears and he doesn't like Animals by Pink Floyd.

Seriously, I'd be interested to know what you received. :)

P.S. Happy birthday for very soon. Maybe you should do what the Queen does and have an official birthday in June. (I was going to say during the summer then I noticed where you are.)

I bought an identical pair of earbuds for my daughter recently, she just loves them:

or the same here if the ebay link stops working:

They were those types, yes. I can't remember what brand they were...just a simple type with 3 different removable silicon attachments of varying sizes to fit the ear as perfectly as possible. Similar to those V-MODA ones that RBS linked to. And thanks for the birthday suggestion - may well keep it in mind

Since I'm the father a of a 5 year old and a 2 year old, you guys can imagine that Christmas is ALL about them, however I did get the awesomeness that is a Fry's card from a family member which I used in their after Christmas Sale for RAM! And there's the package of summer musical tickets that my wife and I gave each other. Gotta keep the wife happy....happy wife, happy ThinkPad tinkerer! :D

These are the identical earbuds that I use on my .mp3 player, same color too; they are unbelievably rich and clear with nice bass. I paid 4 times the price for a pair of Shure sound isolating earbuds and the V-Moda sound better to me. Best $20 I've spent in a long time.

Those V-Modas look almost exactly like my Sony earbuds (maybe they copied them from Sony?). If they are anything like the Sonys, the sound is excellent!
