I wanted to make sure I got a setup with a nice mouse, so I grabbed this without even thinking of reading the revies...

so heres the catch? has anyone owned one with an experience, good or bad?

Some of the people who provide reviews often see the glass as half-full.

My wife and I have a Logitech Bluetooth mice; mine is a V270, hers is a V470. My wife also uses a Logitech headset when making business calls via Skype. Neither of us has had anything but praise for Logitech's products.

The product you have bought looks OK to me. Let us know how you get on with it.

I got the keyboard in yesterday, it runs find in Windows 7 and in Windows Vista

the only catch is I am using a different bluetooth dongle then the one that came with it so the keyboard and mouse is useless outside of windows.
I am going to have to order a new dongle from logitech. (16$ shipped)

the Delays people speak of last a half a second at most and the keyboard reset only applied to the LCD Display. it has no effect on typing.
nothing worh whining about, nor is it worth running away from this keyboard.

The e-mail notification dosent work with Thunderbird un fortunately, so I had to switch over to using outlook.
The features on this keyboard are great.

The E-mail and IM notifications are great, it also enables you to read the message you recived on the LCD instead of just saying you got a message. so if I am using a full screen app I dont have to alt-tab my way to my other software to read what ends up being spam.

the touch sensitive Media controls are very well done.
It's deffinately a high end keyboard/mouse
set.

The media display is nice as well. I can browse playlists and play them wile in full screen applications, but setting up the playlists have proved to be a pain.

I would buy this over the MX5500 just because of the touch sensitive controls.

If only I could get it to display game stats :(
