finding broadband service

#1 Post by alfio » Wed Feb 18, 2009 6:59 am

hello all

we're headed back to the states after a two year stint abroad and since i'm somewhat out of touch with available offers and whatnot, i'd really like to do my homework on contracting a broadband supplier.

are there any helpful websites for figuring out who sells what while servicing my address? what i mean is, i've been to dslreports.com, etc and have a general sense of prices but i cannot locate anything that tells me exactly which companies will provide broadband (dsl, cable, etc) at my address. i did find this site which gave me some information but i'm hoping there are other, more complete sources. thanks all

If you can get it, FIOS by Verizon is top dog right now.

You've tried http://www.dslreports.com/reviews ?

You could also post something on the appropriate City Chat forum. Someone there should be able to point you at the best ISPs.
