I still have a 570 but I never use it (loose hinges, dead battery, not very useful), and I sold my T20 to a friend awhile back because she needed a computer.

I don't know what your budget looks like, but you can always get another one. Have you looked through the Marketplace here? There's a few Thinkpads up for sale still.

My computer budget is 0 right now. I have a nice Toshiba a205*S5859 anyway.

A friend had one and said that the first syllable described its quality. (Look up the UK meaning of Tosh via a search engine.)

He had to mount it on wooden blocks to prevent it from overheating. Placing it on a table was enough to raise any veneer.

Maybe I got a good one but they only flaw mine has is a cracked off peice above the express card slot.

I never thought I could manage without a ThinkPad, but I've been doing just fine!

My son's mother has my old T23, but she seems reluctant to give it back. I'm still holding on to the ultrabay accessories just in case.
