Bluetooth costs???

I was reading some reviews on Bluetooth stuff the other day and read that Bluetooth is supposed to be quite inexpensive to manufacture... If that's the case, why is it that everything bluetooth seems to be 2x as much as normal wireless stuff? I'm thinking of keyboards/mice in particular. That seems rather odd to me!
