Plz help me with picasa

Ok So I uploaded 190 pictures from Picasa to my Picasa web album. On the disk 190 pictures takes space of about 800mb but online 190 pictures takes space of only 220mb. When uploaded I used original size option. Are the pictures online stored in lower quality? Why is there such a discrepancy in disk space usage between online disk and my hard drive?

I use picasa too, but I haven't noticed this difference. I'll check and get back to you...

i reported it to google. they have fixed it. big thumbs up for google!!!!
