I like the feather :)

I did note however that the 2-feather graphic doesn't have a transparent background though and as a consequence looks a bit out of place. (looks white on a blue-background post).

I was wondering what that feather was.
So when does it become a the colorful bird? Or is that just for you Bill?

Also, what's with the title of "Senior and General Forum Members"?

In the old forum, you sorta knew who the "old" members were...there were no feathers to gauge a user's reputation.

discount?, of course.. :)

all past thinkpad customers get a discount..
off my posted prices..
and all registered members get free ground shipping in the USA..

all previous thinkpad purchasers get a crossed feather rank when they are also a member here, but each must ask for it..

AND

$$#@!%%$&^%$!~ IT, the feather is NOT silly..

ok, reality is yes, but i need to take each on a case by case basis..
if i am running a super special like the special on the T42p GVU model i can't do much..
'cuz that is already heavily discounted to the point of no return..

Hey, that's great, thanks very much for the discounts, it much appreciated.

I sure hope that wanting the beautiful... feather(s) removed does not disqualify me from them.

I like the feathers. Also, I just noticed that the toucan is the same as the one on the top forum image!

The Tucan, I'm sure, is reserved for one only, that one being the Admin.

i can't remove the feather for one and not remove it for all, sooo....

and someone wanted to know the forum "ranks"..

if anyone wants to make a suggestion, i'll listen.. :)

the number of feathers is proportional to the number of posts made..

the toucan is, sort of, my logo.. :)

How about keeping the text for ranking and let the logo be user defined with or without pixel restrictions, I think 32x32 is reasonable for all else while you keep yours at 62x61 or whatever you like.

I am confused as how the feather ranks relate to the text rank.

It seems that the text rank relates to how long a person has been on the forums (with Senior Members having been on the forum since time immemorial :D), while feather rank relates to the # of posts.

Am I right?
