Well pleased to see that the oldies and not a minority... Im 50 on May 25, and expect cards from all of you

First computer was a NASCOM 1 kit, 1978, 2000 solder joints and it worked first time. Been thru everything since, from superhuge GEC UNIX 4000 series mainframes to PDAs

My first TP is this one, bought in the last few months, and "I'm lovin' it". Now with 802.11g, even easier to use....

22 years old. I got a used T22 so I could work outside my room (I live in a fraternity) and work on Excel spreadsheets with my professors in office hours. It has since replaced my newer HP desktop as my primary computer.
T22, nothing fancy

Turned 50 this past November. Guess I'm almost an oldster here! First ThinkPad and first computer was a 700C. Nothing better than TPs IMHO. Back in those early TP days I used to lurk around the CompuServe TP forum that Bill Morrow and others here also participated in.

Regards,
Bill Armstrong
700C, then 755, then 770, then 770Z, then A20p, then A21p, then X20 and A30p, then X30, and finally an X40. What's next?

For the gentlemen and ladies with upcoming birthdays, Happy Birthday. May all your dreams and wishes come true. If they have already then I wish you many more!

Best regards,
Chris

34 now, got an R40e through my previous company about 2 years ago, and I was hooked. Now waiting for some more revenue to come into my current company so I can join the T42 crowd. :)
