Chair of Mozilla Foundation, the American lawyer Mitchell Baker, suggests a couple of ways the proposal could use "improvement":
The overall point that may get lost is that — even if everything in the currently proposed settlement is implemented in the most positive way — IE will still have a unique and uniquely privileged position on Windows installations.
The Inquirer is not amused.

(Of course, no one actually uses Mozilla's products for obvious reasons.)

This must be giving MS deja vu. The issue is exceedingly similar to the underlying issue in the 1998-2001 litigation in the US.

He points out things that are at least remotely true, while The Inquirer is obviously giving all to misunderstand what he's saying.

He does not complain about Explorer using parts of IE to display the taskbar, but he is complaining about the IE icon ON the taskbar.

And he is right saying that Microsoft products have a habit of changing settings when being updated.
I always remove WMP from the quickstart and startmenu, but after every other update they are there again.
I had my default browser (non-IE) being replaced by IE as default more than once.
And the list could go on.

Well, right now I'm using Firefox to browse this forum, and Thunderbird is my personal email client (using Outlook at work).
