802.11n wireless is finally ratified

So, after years of messing about, 802.11n will no longer just be a draft wireless standard. 8)

I see that the WiFi Alliance is still maintaining interoperability with the published standard exists for all draft 802.11n kit, which is certainly putting an extremely optimistic spin on things!

Foward interoperability for kit that was truly compliant with all of the 802.11n Draft 2 specification is realistic, but there is a lot of pre-Draft 2 kit that simply will not work in a useful (let alone compliant) way with the final, published IEEE specification.
