I ordered T60p from IBM used laptops website. it says under UPS tracking number that "signature is required." does it have to be my signature or can it be my parents signature? anybody got any clue?

My experience is that anyone at the specified delivery address can sign for the package. They just want a name to prove the package was given to you, or someone you know. If by chance it was delivered to the wrong address and the person that signed for it was unknown to you, then you could file a claim.

I have seen UPS packages dropped off at the wrong address before. The UPS driver gave me a neighbor's package, and mine was at a door down the street. Requiring a signature reduces the risk of this happening.
