ipod shuffle replacement

#1 Post by mattbiernat » Wed Nov 11, 2009 9:40 pm

my ipod shuffle apparently did not like pepsi. i am going back to the states for Christmas this winter and I need to buy a replacement for my shuffle. i checked out apple website but their new shuffle has lots of problems so i need some ideas. I need something that is going to be reliable as I am not going to be back in the states for another year and a half or so. I only use my mp3 player for running, it needs to be small and compatible with winamp. a USB option would be nice too (but not a priority) as I often transfer files between my laptop and school computer.

My wife is a runner. She had the shuffle but switched to the new nano. Doesn't use all the nifty features like taking vidios much, but likes that she can make different running playlists. Tempo = running speed as it does for me and my bike. Slow steady songs at beginning and end with faster songs in the middle of a playlist makes for an excellent workout helper. A friend mentioned that while she's running if something should happen, she's got a vid camera strapped to her arm, ready to go. The battery lasts much longer than on my IPOD Touch. Since I refuse to have TWO different products, I stick with my iTouch but she swears by the Nano now.
