Is microsoft every going to fix hotmail and skydrive?

Microsoft finally seems to have gotten their search engine right. Yesterday I tried their hotmail and skydrive service and it is still crap. Any hope for them fixing it? I really would like to have easy acess to file storage an email at the same time.

Google's mail service and docs storage might be an alternative.

yes, i am a gmail user. however their docs service does not allow storing exe mp3. and many other file formats. they also limit file size to 10-20mb. besidies i would like to a see a competition to google, it seems like they are the new yahoo in many aspects.

okay so i changed to hotmail. i use gmail address for sending and receiving messages into my new hotmail inbox. i like the windows live photo gallery much better than picasa (which became bloated). skydrive, integration with mail service is also pretty nice. hopefully microsoft will work on the live docs so that they become much more usable in the future.
