Sandisk Memory stick..."error" what should I do...

#1 Post by nowstime » Sat Mar 05, 2005 10:54 pm

Hi~

I was transferring my files using the USB cable then suddenly the Camera's blue screen goes out and when I restarted my camera it said "memory stick error"...it's a Sandisk 512mb memory stick...

In this case what should I do? Can I take it to bestbuy and get a new one (I bought it last after thanksgiving day sale) or send it to Sony?

Best wishes,

I doubt BB will accept it back now that it's 90 days since you purchased it but you could try. I would contact Sandisk and start a claim. They should replace it if it is defective, it has at minimum a one year guarantee.

Use your camera to re-format the stick. Somehow it's become corrupt.
