I'd just like to announce the release of some software I've written called My Bandwidth. It monitors your download/upload speed and totals and comes with some nice features. Best of all its FREE!

Hmmm...this could be interesting. On my next anniversary date (when my broadband plan reverts back to 0GB consumed), I might install this.

Just to let you know My Bandwidth has come through a couple of software revisions and comes with more neat features, such as being able to select the adapter to read values from.

I have been using DU Meter for many years. This is a bandwidth monitor. It tells me if traffic is moving (it doesn't always), and on a long file transfer, it tells me if I am achieving a consistent flow (doesn't always happen). So it is useful enough to keep in the system tray. I expect Hippo's tool is similar. ... JD Hurst
