Nintendo DS multiplayer game for me & my daughter?

Title says all. I have a Nintendo DS I used to play a lot on my long flights and free time and now I bought a DSi XL.

My daughter (8 yrs old) got my old DS and I was looking for some multiplayer games to play together with her. I have Mario Kart already (which is btw lots of fun).

I'm looking for some funny games, not too girlish, but no shooters either. Any recommendations are welcome!

Not to stick with the Mario theme, but the New Super Mario and Mario 64 have some fun mini games, and Super Mario the game is really fun too.

I have the Super Mario, but won't it be too difficult for my daughter? I don't think she will like jump & run games. My limited experience with kids this age is that they get quickly frustrated if the game is too difficult...

Have I met your kid? I don't seem to recall having done so. My nephew was playing Mario at four and I've seen younger kids doing so as well. Every kid is different I suppose. You'd be in a better position to that question than I.
