I removed my non charging T60 battery, and saw it says where you would see the split lines IBM logo only it says in split lines BEC. It has all the other lenovo information on it. Is this a fake chiniess battery?

for all the dead ThinkPad batteries, is there such thing as a battery tender? I looked at all my batteries and they all have the same style plug type, just diffrent battery shape.
