Future of ThinkPads

Just reading online and on ThinkPads.com and was woundering what will ThinkPads be like in the future. Will they still be the classic basic black laptop with the red trackpoint, or will it join in with all the other future computer companies. Todays cellphones "smartphones" are all basically a full touchscreen now, and the laptops plus desktops are almost combining to one as a touch only system like an apple iPhone or iPad. As for lenovo they made the lePad Slate. This kinda reminds me of when the first ThinkPad came out the 700C a touchPad or really the pen touch or even the Transnote. So will the ThinkPad soon all become a touch only laptop or slate board eliminating the keyboard all together and have the keyboard appear on screen?

From a marketing standpoint...don't expect Lenovo to change the branding of the ThinkPad. I think the color black and track-points will be around for a long time.

I'd really like to see the ThinkPad 701C redone again but with better running system of today. Seeing Windows 7 on a 701C.
