ThinkVantage Rescue and Recovery

How much space is required for the ThinkVantage Rescue and Recovery? Both of my ThinkPad's X41 & X41T I got a KingSpec 16GB SSD for them and both running Windows XP on them, As everyone knows SSDs are $$ and I didn't feel like buying the HDDs for the X40 series as they only used the small HDDs and were all used and old. I get Error, not enough free space "Not real message ,but close to what it said"

I wouldn't bother with it, it's an unnecessary space waster.
Better to get Acronis TrueImage and use that to make regular backups on e.g. an external 1TB hard disk

The advantage with R&R is that it resides on a hidden disk patition. If you are away from your normal workplace or home and something goes horribly wrong with your machine, then you can recover quickly. You cannot always get to your external hard drive ... it might be thousands of miles away.
