WHICH ONE TO CHOOSE ?? >ThinkPad X120e or IdeaPad S205

I am shopping for new 'small laptop' to replace the aging s-10....

so looking for some feedback on the above two choices

Let the S10 age a wee bit longer until the X121e debuts here with the i3 CPU.

Not sure why them tea drinkers across the pond should get it first, but no doubt, it will be cheaper when it gets here.

I was pondering the same thing (replacing S10 with 120e) when I ran across this Edge E120 (same as TP121e) with the i3 Sandy Bridge, and I am very pleased with it. I still haven't had a chance to try the E350 machines, so they may be a very nice experience as well.

But, I would definitely get the x120e with the E350. The performance difference appears to be significant between the E240 and E350. My primary reason for giving up the S10 after a few years was the lack of a Trackpoint, so the choice between another Ideapad and a Thinkpad of some type was an easy one. If I didn't NEED the Trackpoint, the S205 would have been a lot easier to choose, or I might have gotten one of the new black HP DM1z with the next-gen AMD cpu/gpu.

..ummm.....not getting easier LOL ,,, getting MORE complicated it seems:

@elray*..... yips love to get something with i3 and 11in protable and very light , but then I would leave LENOVO , as that open a whole new choice options ,,,,,

@sch*....not sure Edge120e is for sale in USA; but than not sure WHY Lenovo makes it so difficult to find the AMD options for their machines ,,,, weird that !!

SO i shoudl be aiming for thinkpad E350 atleast and rest - HD etc etc ,, dont matter to me
but I was/ am leaniing towards THINKPAD brands anyways , as am not sure I like going away from something I am used to - regarless of RED DOT 'stick' or not !!!
