Can I switch systemboard of x100e?

#1 Post by georgios » Tue Jun 17, 2014 10:56 pm

Hi, my x100e won't start recently. Based on you guys' posts, it looks like the systemboard's problem. As I'm always resenting its weak CPU, now finally got a chance to replace it. My original one is AMD L335, so I'm thinking buying a systemboard with AMD L625, just wondering if it is possible? Or even one of the x120e?

Welcome to the forum.
X100e and X120e use a different LCD-cable connector, different fan designs, and a few other things, so those motherboards are NOT interchangeable.
The L625 should be no problem though, same 'family'.
