Anyone have a copy of the correct BIOS, been looking for two hours, and although I find links, they all seem dead.
Thanks
Ron

Re: X130e Whitelist Removal
Sorry for resurrecting this thread but I am looking to remove the battery whitelist check on my x131e and I am wondering if Ron or anybody else could point me to where he found a BIOS for his x130e or any other way to find it/do it.
For background:
I bought a battery for my x131e and its use is prevented by the battery validation check upon boot that identifies it as a non-genuine battery.
I learned about GitHub repository offering images to patch the EC: https://github.com/hamishcoleman/thinkpad-ec
but the x131e does not appear among the (very few) supported devices. These are:
T430, T430s, T530, W530, x230, x230t
