Currently have a U110, worthwhile upgrading to a X100e?

I currently have an Ideapad U110. It's been good except for the keyboard.

Thinking about getting a dual core X100e as a replacement just for the keyboard's sake.

Anyone have experiences with both laptops? How would the AMD L335 or L625 CPUs compare to the Intel L7500 in the U110 as far as battery life and performance? I'm getting roughly 3.5hrs. on the 8 cell battery on the U110. Performance-wise, I'd like it not to be slower than the L7500 in the U110.

And build quality? Can I expect a similar build with the X100e as with the U110?

I think you should expect roughly the same performances on the processor side, and better performance on the hdd and vga side.

The battery life should be also similar.
The build quality and the keyboard of X100 are simply awesome, but I never touched an U110 so I can't compare.

Performance wise L625 and L7500 shold be almost identical, however the Turion Neo x2 + ATI HD3200 combo is far superior than the C2D+x4500MHD combo in the graphics area. The downside, is that the x100e will likely be warmer than your u110.
