Which laptop is more worthy of purchase? Thinkpad X100e or Alienware M11x? `I'm just curious, but not interested in purchasing one or the other. Just wanted to know, which one is cooler.

You have an interesting set of posts on this forum.
- "which would suit me best: x41 or x100e", followed the next day by "I have purchased an x200"
- Followed 3 minutes later by "my x200 was working fine until I broke it trying to put vista on it" (fast overnight delivery?)
- Then the next day "I want to get either the x301 or m11x for my brother"
- And the day after "x100e or m11x ... I'm not interested in purchasing either"
Those two are two rather different classes of machines. As to which one is "more worthy" or "cooler" it depends on what your requirements are.

Well, the x200 arrived a few days ago, I announced that I choose it 1 day after it was delivered and it came with xp and I was going to reboot it with vista and unfortunately had a problem, but now my brother wants a laptop that is ultraportable but doesn't have a discrete graphics card. Thats the only reason I joined this forum, because of the sudden need for Hepplewhite with laptop choices. Lol, I know... Very confusing. Does that clear everything up? Can you answer the question up?

Two completely different machines, dunno why you'd even compare them. The only similarity is screen size. What is "worthy of purchase" depends on your needs, not any absolute or objective factors.

I was actually looking at both options before I bought my x100e. I saw it in person and was put off by how thick and heavy the m11x was, as well as being over twice the price just for the base model. I thought about what I really wanted it for and decided that I wouldn't do any gaming on it since I had a nice desktop for that and I'd only use it for school work.
Funnily enough, I'm on summer break for a month away from my desktop when Starcraft II comes out, but I was able to pick it up, install it and play through the single player campaign on my x100e. Granted it was on low settings and there was some lag when the number of units on the screen really went up, but it was enough for me to finish the game.

"Finish" the game? Pish-posh. You never "finish" Starcraft...
