Upgrade single core MV-40 cpu?

Is it possible to upgrade the mv-40 single core cpu in my x100e to a dual core? I'm wondering if the cpu is soldered or socketed. When I purchased my x100e it was the only available option.. I love this machine but it would be nice to have the extra core to improve performance a bit. Has anyone tried this?
Overall I love my x100e. My only real gripe about this machine is the lack of a TPM chip and possibly a smart card reader. How can this be marketed as a business unit without 2 of the most common business features.
