3 cell battery on x100e

Hello everyone. I cant seem to find any solid reviews on the 3 cell battery for the x100e. I'm considering the 3 cell and would like to get a first hand opinion from those of you who have used it.

My concerns:
1) form factor & weight - Does the 3 cell lose the protruding portion that we have to deal with in the 6 cell? I'm hoping that the 3 cell fits flush against the surface of the x100e.
2)Battery life - how long does your 3 cell last? Not a big concern since I expect to be near an outlet most of the time. But good to know nevertheless.
3) Price - where can you get it the cheapest?

Thanks everyone.

I have both the 3 cell and 6 cell batteries for my X100e.

The 3 cell is completely flush fitting, no protrusion at all. The bottom is rounded with feet, like the 6 cell battery.

My 3 cell weighs 5.7 ounces. My 6 cell weighs 11.6 ounces.

My machine without any battery weighs 2 lbs. 9.2 oz.; w/3 cell 2 lbs. 14.9 oz; w/6 cell 3 lbs. 4.8 oz.

At most, I've seen 2 hours from the 3 cell. While watching a downloaded movie, the battery lasted 1 hour and 20 minutes.

I found a new, sealed one on eBay.

I keep the 3 cell in my X100e unless I'm traveling, then I bring both. The machine looks and feels perfect with the 3 cell, too bad it doesn't last longer.

I have pretty much the exact same experience as the above poster. The laptop does feel significantly better with the smaller battery.

I have both too, and use the 3 cell 90% of the time. I can expect about 2 hrs without wifi or bluetooth on, use it mainly for taking notes.

the laptop is smaller and lighter to carry around of course, and the lcd can open 180 degrees, not that is important though.
