My X100e screen brightness is increasing by itself

It is interesting to see that when my X100e is connected to the power outlet, suddenly the screen brightness starts increasing by itself. It is like someone -not me- is pressing the bright-up key one step at a time every 2 or 3 minutes until the bar gets to 15.

I haven't spent time trying to understand when and how the behavior occurs. Only thing I have found regarding this issue is the following post at Lenovo Forums.

They way it was solved was by reinstalling everything. :?

Any of you experience the same problem?

I am running Windows 7 - 32 bits with Lenovo Power Management. My bios version is BIOS: 1.29 / ECP: 1.22.

Nope. I am trying to recall what software installation might trigger the behavior. But I don't have any idea. In the last few days I am not experience the behavior. I remember I just installed a few windows updates lately -probably something fixed it?-.

I will try to keep posting on this issue if solved or not.

Bad news. Behavior still happening.

Also since I bought my self a new laptop to replace my x100e I won't be able to keep posting on this topic, unless my new machine experiences the same behavior.

regards
