X120E fan noise and heat issues?

Hello all,

I am considering buying a X120e to bring with me on trips, especially since these machines have dropped prices now around $400. I am just concerned about the fan noise and heat issues. To the people who have used this new model, could you please provide feedback

Heat issue is nonexistent, the bottom is practical room temperature during casual use, it gets a little warm when the CPU load is heavy for a prolonged period of time, it's a considerable change from the toast oven that is the x100e. The stock BIOS controlled fan is constant on, but not noisy at all, using TPFanControl eliminated the problem altogether. The fan only comes on when CPU temperature goes above 60C, for most of the time the machine is completely silent.
