OS install
IF you have an OS on the HDD already and can Boot to it, you can install from the CDROM. Boot-up, put ME disk in and go to MY Computer, select the CDROM an follow inst.
If that's not possible, from shutdown, open the CDROM tray and insert ME disk, and start the Laptop. It may take several try's. I've done that with Win. 2K, don't know about ME.
Sorry if I've been no help. jimmyd
