Replacing my keyboard on 600E

#1 Post by jDanM » Sat Apr 09, 2005 9:09 pm

I need to replace my keyboard on my TP 600E, and was wondering if I should do this myself. I've got a fair amount of experience messing around with my desktop but have never taken a laptop apart before. What are the odds that I kill it? Any advice would be appreciated.

Go here and click on your series Thinkpad to download the hardware maintenance manual. http://www-1.ibm.com/support/manager.ws ... MIGR-39298
This has everything in it from part number to how to's on your machine.
The keyboard exchange is very simple.
