My "Old" thinkpad 701C is still working

My "Old" thinkpad 701C is still working with W95....but now I need to replace the CMOS battery.
How can I solve the problem?
Can you help me?

It has been a long time. The battery can be replaced with any similar battery. The old battery should have a connector that snaps onto the mobo. The connector can be cut off from the battery and another battery spliced to the wires. Do all of this with the connector disconnected and pay attention to polarity.
It should work.

The battery soldered to the mainboard underside can be replaced by a 'normal' CMOS battery like
