Upgrade the TP 600?

#1 Post by schaki » Sat Apr 16, 2005 10:58 am

TP 600-2645

What is the fastest cpu wich fits?
How much ram is it able to handle?
And, I know it takes 60gb, but does it also handle 80gb?

Maybe it have one of the latest bios because the previous owner ran win XP on it.

I bought it for some days. Have had no TP before this one. My other laptop is a Dell Inspiron 8100. P3 1.13 GHz
Thinkpad X61s with Middleton bios 2.22.

Primarily depends on which model 600 this is, 2645-???, but usually it's a PII 400MHz Intel MMC1 module, rare as hen's teeth!

Again, depending on the model, 256MB or 288MB.

Yes.

If that's the case, then it's capable of using the PII 400MHz module and 288MB RAM.
