Boot and ac beep

Hello, I have an IBM Thinkpad 600x and I would like to know if there is a way to get rid of the boot and ac beep.

Alas the bios in this link is much newer than on mine so I haven't been able to turn the system event off . I've been suggested to update the bios but with no guarantee to solve what I want to solve.
