External keyboard for ThinkPad 340CSE

#1 Post by T.A.SRINIVAS » Mon Jan 07, 2013 11:29 am

Hello,

I have TP340CSE. A few keys (3,E,D,C,) of key board are not working and I have replaced the keyboard twice and now I would like to use an external keyboard. The PS2 provided on system board is for mouse only but HMM says that PS2 port provided is for external keyboard/Numberic keypad. Accordingly I have configured the BIOS configuration setup but doesn't work. Any economical alternative way to use an external keyboard through serial port or parallel port? Please help me.

Regards
