I am using Windows XP SP2! So, where should I see the biggest difference? The time it takes to start up? The number of programs I can run simultaneously? Web sites load faster? Or something else?bhtooefr wrote:@ pianowizard: What version of Windows are you using? If you're using 2000 or older, you won't see much difference until you run several apps at once - then you'll never go back to low RAM.

However, does anyone here run into lockups with their 240s when running on 320MBytes of RAM? Mine seems to lock up once in awhile with weird display errors and whatnot.

I saw MASSIVE improvements in all of that going from 256MB to 384MB in my Dell. Granted, it wasn't a VERY tweaked XP install, but it was still tweaked some.
