How interchangeable are keycaps between models?

Hello, I've got a 701CS that I've been fixing up for eventual reselling. The left Shift and right Alt keys are missing and I'm wondering if the keys used in other similar aged models were identical or not. I am missing the caps and whatever scissor system is used in these. I know its typical for different manufacturers to be used for the keyboards, at least in newer systems, and that the layout may not be same.
Here is a picture of a keyboard missing the same two keys and the anchor points all look to match the keyboard I have.
If anyone has similar aged machines or junked keyboards used for spare parts or anything I'd love to hear from you and buy a key or two!
