Really nice looking 701C on eBay!

Just browsing and I found this:

It's definitely the best looking example I've seen and so far it's going pretty cheap, no doubt it will go higher but still, check it out.

Nice! Good looking lid, it seems to be hard to find one without scratches in the rubber coating. And the RAM door is present, even though taped in place. The main battery seems to be there too, let's only hope it hasn't started leaking and caused corrosion inside.
It will be interesting to see how time affects the prices of these units. It's probably too many around for them to become rare quite yet, but I think more and more of the good 701 units find their ways into hands of collectors (Like me) who has no intentions of reselling them. Maybe unless offered a silly amount of money.

And many of the machines in bad shape turn into parts donors for the good ones. That's my theory, anyway.

Eventually they will all be owned by crazy collectors like us and will have probably lost their already 'subjective' value as everyone who seeks one will have one, there's my theory.
