source for older trackpoints?

Is there a source for older-styled trackpoints? They have a slightly smaller connector than later ones.
Used on things like the 701C, WorkPad Z50 etc.

In particular it would be nice if there were a source of the 'pencil eraser' ones. If not, I'm considering finding a way to make some. Or perhaps soft rim ones with the smaller connector.

Do you have callipers to measure? I thought all TrackPoint caps used in ThinkPad have 4 mm square.

edit: yes, I know M13 is different from ThinkPad. I had no idea, 701C uses different cap than other ThinkPad.

Older IBM devices such as the Model M13, older thinkpads, and the workpad Z50 all use a smaller perfectly 'square' stem. Later trackpoints use a larger square with some protruding pokers. I took a photo but it didn't come out well.

I realized that I had some brand new M13 trackpoints still (baggie is P/N 66G6407 E.C. 541822). IBM made *black* versions of these trackpoints too! One is included with every one of the baggies if you happened to have purchased a brand new M13. So you could stick on a black trackpoint on a 701C if you so desired.

Also it looks like unicomp still sells the old style trackpoints (as they still produce M13s): http://pckeyboard.com/page/Misc/49G2224

Cheers.
