Model 700 PS/2 - need AC adapter or battery

#1 Post by mikeh420 » Sat Feb 14, 2015 2:16 pm

I was given a model 700 PS/2 (9552-301) by a friend whose father, a former IBM C.E, passed away recently. He used it for work after they replaced the old "Brick" comm device. Are there batteries and/or AC adapters readily available for this model? The battery is a FRU 44G3811, and the AC adapter is a 4-pin connector on the laptop side. I'd like to try and get it running. According to Thinkwiki it's a 486 SLC with a ESDI drive.

Also, somewhere I saw a website with a list of Thinkpads by model number listing all the features, but I forgot to save a link. Does anybody have the link?

Thanx
ThinkPad T42 2373
Pentium M 1.7GHz
2 GB Kingston RAM
40 GB HDD
Windows 7 Enterprise
2878 Docking Station

Get this TWBOOK file here: http://www.lenovo.com/psref/pdf/twbook.pdf
And look for: ThinkPad 300, 500, 700, 700C - withdrawn
That model is too old to still find specs in a database.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)
