I was recently given a 760ED and I'm just getting around to installing Windows 98 on it. I've installed the MWave drivers and the device shows up in device manager and multimedia settings, however I get no sound through the speakers or through the headphone jack. When playing sound the bars move in the mwave mixer, but there's just no sound. Is there a hardware mute function I'm missing somewhere? I even tried the test utility and it won't output any sound. Of course I tried turning the inputs up in the mixer as well as playing both PCM and midi sounds.

Whoops, I just realized there's a volume slider next to the status LCD. I feel stupid now.

Feeling stupid over missing it is acceptable.
I mean, I don't know if there was any other laptop with a volume slider like the 760 series.
